Meet Aklilu, Desktop Engineer

Aklilu works as a Desktop Engineer on our Technology Solutions team. With over 15 years of experience in the field, Aklilu is a seasoned veteran when it comes to troubleshooting technical issues. He works with the client to monitor their systems, diagnose problems, and implement solutions.
With thousands of systems that need to be monitored each week, Aklilu started and led a project to automate these thousands of systems, allowing the team to quickly find the systems that have crashed and troubleshoot the issue. This has been instrumental in decreasing security vulnerabilities and making reporting faster and more accurate.
Aklilu has always had a passion for working with computers, always finding a way to troubleshoot and fix technical problems himself, whether it be hardware or software. In his own words, “I love to find solutions”, and he has been finding solutions for EGT clients for 4 years now. His favorite part of working at EGT is how connected he feels to the company. Despite being on a client site every day, he still feels like he’s a part of the EGT family.
When Aklilu isn’t troubleshooting for our clients, you can find him working on his latest woodworking project.
